Our
orthopedic surgeons and certified nurse
practitioner have extensive experience in treating the injured
worker. An emphasis is made on returning the worker to the
workplace as soon as possible. We serve as providers for many
local companies and participate with most of the major worker's
compensation insurance companies in New Jersey.
We work with the employer by supplying reports and return to
work sheets specifying limitaions within 24 hours of the office
visit and often much quicker by fax. To provide the best service
to the employee and employer, we have a disignated cooridinator,
Andrea, to handle communications and provide a consistent
contact person.
Our approach is to care for the injured worker aggressively. One
of our physicians is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
to see patients either in an emergency department or in our
office. Workers who are unable to return to work immediately are
seen on a weekly basis until they are either returned to work or
at maximum medical improvement (MMI).
In today's environment, the impaired worker not only is not
productive, but also a workplace liability. We provide drug
testing to those companies with testing policies. Dr. Packman is
a certified medical review officer (MRO) and reviews testing
results.
We know that the worker is the employer's greatest asset and
when a worker is out of work, the expense is not only in terms
of dollars for medical care, but also productivity.
Let us help your workforce be the most productive.
