| W. Scott Williams, M.D., D.O.S., F.A.A.O.S. |
Dr. Williams is a graduate of Penn State University. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, did his internship at Akron General Hospital and his Orthopedic Residency at Graduate Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Williams received Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery in 1972.
For many years he has been part of the leadership of South Jersey Hospital - Millville. He was elected President of the Medical Staff, has been a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Department of Surgery. He is currently on the Credential Committee for the Hospital System.
Dr. Williams is a member of many orthopedic organizations, including Eastern Orthopedic Association, The Society of Surgeons of New Jersey, The Philadelphia Orthopedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

The Regional Medical Center named him "Doctor of the Year in 2004" for his many years of dedication and service to the health system.
Dr. Williams takes a conservative approach to treatment. In discussing the options of treatment, he considers the natural history of the disease and the fact that many times surgery is not needed. He believes that the patient plays a key role in his treatment. He has a special interest in Total Joint Replacement.
Dr. Williams is an avid boater, sailor and skier. He and Mary Jo, his wife, live in Millville and have 3 sons. |
